1. Introduction to stainless steel vacuum glove box
The vacuum glove box is a laboratory equipment that vacuumizes the box, then fills the box with high-purity (≥99.95%) nitrogen or inert gas, and filters out the active substances (oxygen, moisture, etc.) in the box. Also called glove box, inert gas protection box, dry box, etc.
In the chemical reaction and the pre-treatment of the test sample, some substances are very sensitive to oxygen and water, which cannot be carried out in the general environment. Although the chemical reaction of this type of substance can be carried out in a vacuum container, it cannot be operated, which makes the pretreatment of the chemical reaction sample of this type of substance very difficult. The use of a vacuum glove box can make this kind of substance operate, react and test under the conditions of high purity nitrogen or inert gas, so it is used in chemistry, chemical industry, biology, biochemistry, especially in the preparation and research of certain catalysts and metal organics. On the one hand, it has a wide range of uses.
2. Stainless steel vacuum glove box structure
The vacuum glove box is mainly composed of a box body and a bracket. If users have other special requirements, they can also be designed or specially made according to their needs.
There are two glove operation interfaces on the conventional standard box. The front of the operating box is made of tempered glass, which has a wide viewing angle and no dead corners. The top of the box is equipped with a super bright fluorescent strip with a cover. The operator can clearly observe the operation process inside the box, making the operation process more intuitively displayed in front of the operator's eyes.
There are two vacuum ball valves (one each for G1/2" and G1/4") on the box body and the transition compartment, and there are pagoda joints (one for each of Φ16 and Φ10) on the ball valve, which can be used to connect the intake and exhaust hoses.
A vacuum pressure gauge on the box body and the transition chamber is used to measure and view the vacuum degree of the box body and the transition chamber (vacuum pressure gauge 2.5, range -0.1-0 MPa, connector thread M14x1.5).
There are 2 spare vacuum ball valves on the right side of the box, and there are Φ6 pagoda joints (2x2) inside and outside. Users can use them according to their needs. They can be connected here when water or ventilation is needed.
Into the box. A vacuum electrode is installed on the right side of the box, and a porous socket is installed through the vacuum electrode in the box. There are 1 vacuum ball valves for balancing on the left and right sides of the box, and there are pagoda connections on them.
The head and connecting hose are used to connect the pagoda connector on the glove cover to keep the pressure balance inside and outside the glove when vacuuming.
3. Features of vacuum glove box
3.1. The whole box is made of SUS304 stainless steel medium and thick plate, and is reinforced, the inner surface is brushed and polished, and the outer surface is sprayed with plastic. The box is strong, corrosion-resistant and easy to clean.
3.2. The front of the operation box is made of toughened glass, with a wide viewing angle and no dead ends.
3.3. With lighting lamps and multi-hole sockets in the box, electric furnaces can be used for local heating.
3.4. The operating gloves are sealed with rubber gloves for reliability and durability.
3.5. The sealing door device is a patented product, with novel design, reliable sealing and easy opening.
3.6. There are spare pagoda joints inside and outside, which can be used for water intake and drainage, air intake and exhaust.
3.7. The two doors inside and outside the transition compartment solve the problem of convenient access to materials and vacuum.
3.8. The booster struts inside and outside the transition compartment solve the problem of convenient door opening. When opening the door, you only need to loosen it and lift it gently to open the door.
